1. General
1.1. These Fitting and Balancing Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between Tyre Dispatch ("We," "Us," or "Our") and the customer ("You" or "Customer") who purchases and/or schedules fitting and balancing services.
1.2. By scheduling and receiving fitting and balancing services from Tyre Dispatch, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read and understand these Terms before scheduling any services with us.
2. Services Offered
2.1. We provide professional tyre fitting and wheel balancing services at our workshop at 31 Station Road, Te Puke. Service hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm.
2.2. Our fitting and balancing service includes:
- Removal of old tyres from rims
- Professional mounting of new tyres
- Computer-assisted wheel balancing (with fitting + balancing service)
- New valve installation
- Final safety inspection (inflation pressure, wheel nut torque, fitment check)
- Responsible disposal of old tyres through the Tyrewise stewardship programme
2.3. We fit and balance tyres from any supplier at the same price — you do not need to have purchased your tyres from Tyre Dispatch to use our fitting service.
2.4. This is an in-workshop service only. We do not offer mobile fitting or callout services. We do not offer puncture repairs or wheel alignment.
3. Pricing
3.1. Current pricing (all prices include GST):

3.2. Pricing is subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking applies to that appointment.
3.3. Tyre Dispatch reserves the right to adjust pricing for unusual or non-standard wheel/tyre combinations that require additional time or specialist handling.
4. Payment
4.1. Payment for fitting and balancing services is due at the time the service is rendered.
4.2. We accept the following payment methods: cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), Afterpay, Zip, bank transfer, and WINZ quotes. Additional payment methods may be available — see our payment options page for current details.
5. Booking & Appointments
5.1. Appointments are required. Customers can book online via our live availability calendar or by calling (07) 573 9090.
5.2. Walk-in customers may be accommodated when capacity allows, but booking in advance guarantees your time slot.
5.3. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible so we can adjust.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
6.1. There are no cancellation or rescheduling fees.
6.2. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your slot to another customer.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1. It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is available and at our workshop at the scheduled appointment time.
7.2. You must provide accurate information regarding the tyres to be fitted — including size, quantity, and any specific requirements.
7.3. If your vehicle has locking wheel nuts, you must bring the wheel lock key. Without the key, we cannot remove the wheels and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
7.4. You are responsible for ensuring the tyres you bring are the correct size and type for your vehicle. If you are unsure, we are happy to help confirm before fitting — but the final decision rests with you.
8. Warranty & Guarantee
8.1. Workmanship guarantee: All fitting and balancing work is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If you experience vibrations, balance issues, or other problems directly related to our fitting work within 12 months of the service, bring your vehicle back and we will re-balance or re-fit free of charge.
8.2. The workmanship guarantee applies to all customers, regardless of where the tyres were purchased.
8.3. Product warranties: Tyre product warranties are separate from our fitting guarantee and vary by brand and model. If you purchased your tyres from Tyre Dispatch, we manage product warranty claims on your behalf — you deal with us, not the manufacturer. If you purchased your tyres elsewhere, product warranty claims should be directed to your original supplier.
8.4. The workmanship guarantee does not cover issues caused by road hazards, impacts, modifications to the wheel/tyre after fitting, driving on a flat or underinflated tyre, or normal wear and tear.
9. Liability
9.1. We provide our fitting and balancing services with professional care and attention. Tyre Dispatch is not liable for any damages to your vehicle that may occur during the fitting process unless the damage is a direct result of negligence on our part.
9.2. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to wheels, rims, or tyres that may become apparent during the fitting process (e.g. corrosion, hairline cracks, previous repairs).
9.3. We are not liable for issues related to the tyres themselves — such as manufacturing defects, tread separation, or other product faults — beyond the coverage of the relevant manufacturer warranty.
10. Size Limitations
10.1. Tyre Dispatch currently does not offer fitting and balancing for the following sizes due to equipment limitations:

10.2. This list may change as equipment is upgraded. If you're unsure whether we can fit your size, call (07) 573 9090 before booking.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
12. Changes to Terms
12.1. Tyre Dispatch reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
